The "Restore Window" function stopped working when I upgraded from Spiffy version 0.5.4 to version 0.5.6. What happens is that it creates a task on the taskbar but there is no way to open the task so it can be seen. If I click on the task on the taskbar, the task disappears from the taskbar.
I am seeing this problem on Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit). I did the exact same upgrade on a Windows XP SP3 (32-bit) machine and did NOT have this problem.

I found a solution: I uninstalled completely, including the configuration file, and reinstalled version 0.5.6. All is now good.

Must have something to do with new 'Always Hide Window' feature, I got another report about this and was also fixed by creating a new save file. Good to hear it's working now, I'll look into it for future releases.

0.5.7 has a fix for this; - enable Debug logging under Advanced - restart Spiffy - when it tells you about Debug logging is on, press 'Yes' to disable it - the window location should be reset now (try to restore it) - hope it stays away
